All About Cupcakes: How to Build an Acrylic Cupcake Stand (Part 3)

Cupcake stands in the market are ready sets of normally 3, 4 or 5 tiers. I will show you how to DIY build a cupcake stand using acrylic boards and risers. You can adjust the number of tiers needed at any time .

This is a 5 tier stand which fits 50 pieces of cupcakes and a top 6inch diameter cake. The risers are 4 inches in height.

How to Assemble a Cupcake Stand

Important points:

  1. Acrylic risers need to be all the same height. Take note of this during purchasing to prevent waste of your energy and resources. Place them laying down during assembly which gives more stability,
  2. Acrylic disks can be customised by sellers should you require bigger sizes. Seen on this video are 17″ 15″ 14″ 12″ 10″ and a 6″ diameter cake on an 8″ cake board.
  3. A total of 50 pcs of cupcakes can be placed on the stand.
