A long distance relationship finally sealled with a kiss at Weil Hotel, Ipoh.

From the ROM held at Rooftop on the 16th floor, under open skies and overlooking Ipoh city. To the second Ballroom on the 2nd Floor for a Chinese style banquet dinner.

The twist being a U-shaped main table that sits 20pax and a long table for wedding cake and desserts, instead of a stage.

A Green And White Theme

Adhering to the colours of green and white, a Western style that is clean and elegant is the preference. The main table is a U-shape for 20 pax. Guests’ tables are normal 5 feet round shape tables. In place of a stage which is common in our country, a long cake table for the wedding cake and desserts acts as the centrepiece.

Decorative Elements on the Cake and Dessert Table

Waterfall theme is the overall design for the wedding cake and dessert table. White fabric with lots of folds and with different table heights to create falling water. Organza is the material of choice to give a light translucent puffy effect. Artificial green moss are cluttered under acrylic stands which emphasizes the colour of desserts.

Placement of Desserts for a Long Wedding Cake Table

Scattered and spreaded out is the dessert placement idea to maximize the long space, but compact in the centre leaving the edges of the tables empty and white. The Wedding Cake

A 5-tier construction with only the bottom tier real cake (12 inch diameter). In between are two acrylic separators to increase the overall height resulting in a tall and slim cake.

With a fondant base, the decorations are fully using wafer paper, with white fabric technique for water and flowers (roses, cymbidium, hydrangea and foliage) in green and white.

A Celebrative Evening

A night of saxaphone sarenades, songs, dances, speeches, and good food. Bringing joy and fun with family, friends and love ones from near and far. A wedding cake and dessert table as a centrepiece adds to the movement and flow of the event.
