Based in Ipoh, Malaysia, Nurainie Tan Cakes bakes for weddings and events, specializing in bespoke cakes and petit fours for dessert tables. We take pride in producing artistic creations adhering to industry standards. All cake decorations are create by hand from edible cake decorating mediums such as fondant, gumpaste and wafer paper. Resulting in a well-balanced cake that not only looks good for photography, but also leaves a sweet ending to the meal for wedding guests.

Nurainie, however, answered all my questions patiently and even provided her professional opinion when I wanted to get a log cake stand on my own. She responded fast and arrived at the wedding venue on time. She also sent me picture of the cake right after she setup the cake. Nurainie Tan did a beautiful job at crafting the wedding cake for our wedding. The design was based on Wedgwood jasperware which is made in my hometown and brought together a piece of my home to our special day.
I knew right from the beginning that Nurainie was someone I could trust to make a beautiful cake, her passion and expertise were evident from the beginning. Nurainie goes out of her way to make sure the cake is exactly how you imagine and makes the process stress free which is something every bride hopes for.
The cake was delicious and the guests really enjoyed it and for those guests who’d flown all the way from my home city (I’m from the UK) they recognised the wedgwood inspired cake as a nod to them and our beginnings.
